Brandon Lee: Interview by Kamil Grund
Kamil: From operations to global activations, what has been your biggest logistical challenge in scaling The Frequency School’s programs, and how did you turn it into an opportunity? Brandon : Our focus in scaling The Frequency School has always been being intentional and fundamentally sound in what we build. As we expand globally, we design programs that translate naturally across cultures while maintaining real impact. Because sound is universal, our goal is to create simple, accessible tools that help people reconnect with their wellbeing through sound anywhere in the world. Kamil: The launch of World Frequency Day signals a new kind of global ritual. How do you envision this observance influencing public awareness of sound and wellness at scale? Brandon: World Frequency Day is about creating a shared moment where people around the world can tune in together through sound, intention, and presence. The vision is to make wellness something that feels collective, accessible, and fun rather than something distant or overly complex. By bringing people together through music, sound experiences, and moments of connection, it helps raise awareness of how sound can support wellbeing while turning it into a global moment that people look forward to participating in each year. Kamil: How do you maintain integrity and consistency as frequency-based practices scale globally? Brandon: We maintain integrity by staying authentic to the purpose behind the work and approaching it with gratitude. As frequency-based practices grow globally, it’s important that the message stays grounded in genuine intention rather than trends. Practicing gratitude for the impact, the people involved, and the opportunity to share this work helps keep everything aligned and consistent as the community continues to grow. Kamil: As Frequency School evolves from a movement into a structured global organization, what key operational systems or infrastructures are you building to support its long-term scalability and real-world impact? Brandon: As Frequency School evolves into a structured global organization, we’re focused on building systems that allow us to scale with consistency and impact. This includes developing a facilitator-friendly digital curriculum for global access, creating impactful immersive wellness experiences, and building strong global partnerships that embed our work into schools, wellness spaces, and communities. At the core, it’s about having the right infrastructure in place so every experience remains intentional, accessible, and aligned no matter where it’s delivered. “World Frequency Day is about creating a shared moment where people around the world can tune in together through sound, intention, and presence.”
