Aaron Dawson: Interview by Kamil Grund

Kamil: Creativity is at the heart of The Frequency School’s experiences. How do you approach infusing artistic innovation into projects designed for healing and well-being? Aaron: For me, creativity is a bridge between science and feeling. You can talk about frequency intellectually, but people understand it through experience. My role is translating the invisible into something people can see, hear, and feel by designing environments and experiences that bring wellness into an everyday rhythm. When art and culture meet science and wisdom, the idea stops being theoretical and becomes something people can actually feel. And once people feel it, transformation is possible. It’s even more tangible. Kamil: In a world overloaded with digital noise, how do you design sonic experiences that restore rather than overstimulate? Aaron: Sometimes, less is more and sometimes the most powerful sonic experience isn’t just louder, but it has more depth, texture, space and it’s subtle. I think the best DJs blend and mix different flavors together with the right pacing and wallah, magic! I think Maejor and our team do that very well. Our goal is to create environments where the nervous system can be restored, not fried. And there’s a way to do it that’s actually cool. When people leave feeling calmer, more connected to themselves, more aware of their inner state, and can catch an inspired vibe, we know it’s working. Kamil: Many people still associate healing primarily with pharmaceuticals rather than vibration or sound. How do you use storytelling and creative production to shift perceptions from skepticism to curiosity about frequency-based healing? Aaron: I tell people all the time, music has literally saved my life. Listening to the right song can instantly shift your state. There’s a soundtrack for every emotion we experience. Music and sound have the power to move us from sadness to joy, from grief to hope and more. “When art and culture meet science and wisdom, the idea stops being theoretical and becomes something people can actually feel.”

Everyone has different taste, but when the love is real, you can feel that. I focus on creating experiences that are organic, real and feel good. When someone hears a story, sees a visual, or has a moment that truly connects with them emotionally, their perspective starts to shift naturally. Our aim is simple: inspire more presence and gratitude. Because we know, from those states, everything we need in life can begin to flow. Kamil: If Frequency School succeeds at scale, what cultural shift do you hope to see in how future generations understand health, consciousness, and collective harmony? Aaron: My hope is that we and future generations collectively prioritize our health and wellbeing. We’re proactive, not reactive. We have more wisdom, science and tools now than ever to take better care of mind, body and spirit. But in a world filled with distractions, presence is the practice. When we take care of ourselves, when we can emotionally self- regulate, when we fill our cups, when we love ourselves, then we can love others better. I want to see a world where we all love each other better and a world where harmony within, translates to harmony and more peace across every community.
